    Yes, sounds like a southern meal to me. Not sure I would have substituted tomato sauce for actual tomatoes, but glad you liked it anyway. 🙂

    yay! glad collards made it to the table. This is one of the recipes that started it all for me, in case you want to have collard greens again…

    Loving your Southern spread there! Collards are so good and so good for you – glad you enjoyed them. All those veggies look so pretty btw.

    I love collards Kim. I have a good recipe that I made for thanksgiving a few years ago that involves braising the greens with brown sugar and basalmic vinegar I believe.

    Corn Muffins are great, but its not the same as southern corn bread, I’ll have to get the recipe for you from my mother so you can try it.
