    Yes, sounds like a southern meal to me. Not sure I would have substituted tomato sauce for actual tomatoes, but glad you liked it anyway. 🙂

    I love collards Kim. I have a good recipe that I made for thanksgiving a few years ago that involves braising the greens with brown sugar and basalmic vinegar I believe.

    Corn Muffins are great, but its not the same as southern corn bread, I’ll have to get the recipe for you from my mother so you can try it.
